DARCIE MANGUS

Darcie Mangus joined Serazen in 2006 and is responsible for overseeing operations, strategic business planning, driving sales growth and profitability while developing, leading and motivating a high performance management team. Darcie brings a breadth of experience in the areas of; cost controls, reduction solutions, change management, realizing operational efficiencies, driving four wall brand basics and building successful teams capable of delivering sustained growth. Ms. Mangus directly oversees the operations of 125 restaurants with over 3,200 team members. Her executive proficiency is best demonstrated by her ability to collaborate with the management teams to develop and implement success plans, formulate and execute creative strategies and initiatives to produce dramatic results in operations, revenue growth and earnings performance.

Dating back to 2006, Ms. Mangus has been instrumental in our successful acquisition strategies with noted business improvements while filling multiple roles to include, Director of Operations, VP of Operations and then earning a promotion to COO. Ms. Mangus along with our focused operations team produced seven consecutive years of positive SSS growth with SSS Comp of over +30% and SSS transaction comp of over +20% producing significant EBITDA growth. Throughout this period, Serazen was nominated as Papa John’s Franchise of the Year, General Manager of the year and awarded Humanitarian Franchise of the Year.

Ms. Mangus has over 18 years of experience in the restaurant industry with numerous companies, including Pizza Hut, Arby’s and Baja Fresh. Ms. Mangus has filled multiple roles on both the franchisor and franchisee side throughout her career to include; Vice President of Operations, Franchise Business Director, Franchise Consultant, Director of Training, Human Resources Director and Operations Specialist. Ms. Mangus resides in Cary, NC.
